Creation of compliant Ready-to-Broadcast files (RTB) and delivery with Eolementhe
France 3 Nouvelle Aquitaine (also known as .3NoA) is a 100% regional channel, dedicated to promoting culture and creativity in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region.
At the beginning of 2024, .3 NoA launched a call for tender to acquire a Saas system for managing the delivery and compliance of its programmes.
The requirement? To enable audio and video quality analysis, correct R128 loudness or transcode media to the France Télévisions ready-to-broadcast technical standard, all in web mode.
Chosen by .3 NoA for its modularity and financial flexibility, Eolementhe is a collaborative web platform dedicated to the creation of workflows and the exchange of media files.
It integrates a wide range of functions: editing, transcoding, quality control, audio correction, metadata, multilingual subtitling, generative AI, Kantar watermarking, delivery and publication, all in a highly intuitive, operator-oriented interface.
As part of the project, Videomenthe is providing .3 NoA with transcoding, quality control with Baton® from Interra Systems, audio loudness, collaborative file validation and delivery functions.
The .3 NoA teams use a tailor-made sequential workflow, entirely managed via Eolementhe.
The technical stages (audio correction, quality control, transcoding) are carried out automatically, followed by human validation. The technical managers and monitoring teams are alerted by e-mail to examine and validate the files directly on the platform:
✅ File compliant: it is delivered
❌ Non-compliant: the process is interrupted and the user is invited to correct any errors.
This system guarantees a smooth, fast and efficient process, with precise monitoring at every stage.
‘Eolementhe makes our lives easier by automating these technical checks. The on-air team also saves precious time when viewing programmes, which used to be done on a single local workstation!
We can now validate content together, from anywhere, using Eolementhe's highly intuitive web interface.'
