Flight Deck, the new generation of Media Manager + Agents

In Flight Deck, the Manager controls system activity and orchestrates all file transfers between Signiant agents. The Manager acts as a hub, coordinating the transfer of content worldwide between thousands of distributed end-points. Signiant agents perform tasks defined by the Manager, including accelerated file movement and interoperability with third-party software and systems. Agents can be deployed as a single node or in a group. They can also be used as relays to connect public and private networks.

Secure & accelerated transfer

Signiant’s patented file acceleration technology practically eliminates latency, taking advantage of all available bandwidth without restrictions. Transfers can be up to 100 times faster than standard methods such as FTP. Signiant utilizes Transport Layer Security (TLS) to secure all transfers in flight.

Fiabilité

Media Shuttle includes Checkpoint Restart, which automatically resumes any interrupted transfers from the point of failure. You’ll be notified when transfers are complete!

FTP replacement

FTP presents a number of problems: slow, unreliable, difficult to set up, security risks. Signiant technology is an alternative to FTP: UDP transfers, no latency, no systematic packet verification.
