New tool: 
- New Data Migration Tool (DMT) to facilitate migration from Baton database to PostgreSQL. It can be used independently to manually migrate test plans from V8.4 to V9. 
- Integrated into the 8.x to 9.x upgrade procedure 
- Runs as a service 

Global improvements: 
- Switch from Python 2 to Python 3 
- Database migration from ZODB to PostgreSQL 
- Introduction of a Nginx service in Baton architecture for application optimization (addition of advanced caching and scalability) 
- Zope framework replaced by Django 
- Upgrade MainConcept Codec SDK to version 13.4 (improved MPEG4, H264 and H265 decoding) 
- Data Migration Tool added 
- Microservices updated to improve performance 
- BatonScanner microservice added 
- Baton WebService and BatonCSToile microservices deleted 
- Change Baton installation folder and structure from BatonSite to Baton

- TIIF file decoding with JPEG compression

- Baton no longer supports ASP, VC1 and WMA 
- Baton logs download option removed, use Baton Log Zipper directly 
- SOAP API no longer available 
- Several XML-RPC API calls no longer supported 
- Spectrum Server and Avid Interplay location support removed 
- Basic smartfolder mode removed - Baton Database Manager Interface no longer available 
- Checker Server Interface (port 9000) no longer available, settings directly from VM interface 
- Watchfolder support removed => watchfolder migration to smartfolder mandatory before migration
